Spotlight Returned to form with emphatic Flat win in May and has been placed over hurdles twice since; just a respectable fourth at Newton Abbot (2m1f, good) last month but is 2lb lower here and can cope if the ground softens.

Spotlight Dual hurdle winner for Adam West in 2023 and signed off for him with pretty good third at Uttoxeter (2m, good) in July; probably unsuited by heavy ground when making low-key stable debut on the Flat last week; not ruled out.

Spotlight Gave good account when close fourth from out of the weights in selling handicap at Stratford (2m2f, good) last month and is effectively 2lb lower here but this season's record is rather mixed and rain won't aid her.

Spotlight Seemingly aided by addition of tongue-tie and/or cheekpieces when 66-1 third at Bangor (2m, good) last month but needs to build on that performance to open account from 1lb out of the weights here.

Spotlight Displayed promise in good-ground Irish maiden hurdles in the spring but weakened into eighth on stable/handicap debut at Worcester (2m4f, good) in August and was pulled up over that C&D last month; swaps cheekpieces for first-time blinkers and drops back in trip here.

Spotlight Placed in two good-ground novice hurdles in June but was safely held in his first two handicaps; ran well for a long way at Worcester (2m, good) on latter occasion but needs to find extra here.

Spotlight Now only 1lb higher than when scoring at Sedgefield (2m1f, good) for Milton Harris a year ago but both recent runs for Sylvester Kirk were disappointing and he needs to have been perked up by latest stable switch; cheekpieces refitted.

Spotlight Showed some ability on the Flat for Michael Bell but struggled on the Flat and over hurdles for Mitchell Hunt in early part of this year; makes stable/handicap hurdle debut from a lowly mark but still needs to improve.

Spotlight Won modest C&D maiden last October (good to firm) and was subsequently placed in a soft-ground Wincanton handicap but seems to have lost her way this year; back hurdling after one chasing attempt; others appeal more.

Spotlight Won twice on the Flat in France in May 2023 but struggled in three juvenile hurdles for David Pipe last season and we haven't seen him since a heavy defeat on the Flat in February; swaps blinkers for cheekpieces.

Spotlight Ex-Irish maiden; ran quite a bit better than eventual 32l defeat might suggest on recent handicap debut at Fontwell (2m1f, good to to soft; made bad jumping error in straight) but still needs improvement here.

Spotlight Has not shown a great deal over hurdles or on the Flat since joining current stable last autumn and is now 0-25 overall; 4lb wrong here.
